Method for manufacturing anti-collision guardrail by using bamboos which are made of GI metal wire ropes and treated by creosote and coated with HDPE (high-density polyethylene)
A crash barrier for a highway road is designed to provide a gradually increased resistance to impact, which is designed to be made from robust bamboo poles treated with creosote and coated with HDPE. It is not affected by weather and durable, has high resistance to invasion by fungi, moths, termites, and works with flexibility to dissipate kinetic energy generated by collisions. In one embodiment, a beam (2) comprising an assembly of three individual poles 2 (al), 2 (b), 2 (c) is mounted on a column (1) consisting of three poles 1 (al), 1 (b), 1 (c) by means of connecting elements (3, 4), the three poles 1 (al), 1 (b), 1 (c) being arranged triangularly at an angle of 60 degrees to each other. The rear element (4) is bamboo with bamboo joints and is relatively hard, while the front element (3) is hollow tubular and is thus easier to deform. The deformable connecting piece is made of a high-tension GI metal wire rope 7, is fixed by a U-shaped clamp 9, and is locked by a crimping lock 8.
