The invention provides a construction method suitable for unequal-depth adjacent foundation pits in a soft soil area, which comprises the following steps of: downwards excavating a first depth in a deep foundation pit support structure and a shallow foundation pit support structure at the same time, and dismantling a common foundation pit support structure corresponding to the first depth; a shallow foundation pit bottom plate and an inverted bracket connecting structure are constructed at the position corresponding to the first depth in the same period, the shallow foundation pit bottom plate and the inverted bracket connecting structure are jointly poured into an integral structure, excavation continues to be conducted downwards in the deep foundation pit support structure by the second depth, and a top beam is constructed at the top of the remaining common foundation pit support structure; and the third depth continues to be excavated downwards in the deep foundation pit support structure, and a deep foundation pit bottom plate and a remaining main body structure are constructed. According to the construction method, a deep foundation pit and a shallow foundation pit do not need to be independently constructed, the construction method can be adopted for construction in the same period, the construction efficiency can be greatly improved, and the engineering cost is reduced.
