The invention discloses a rolling ball type shock insulation support with speed type damping, wind resistance and self-resetting functions. The rolling ball type shock insulation support comprises an upper connecting plate, a lower connecting plate and a plurality of shock absorption mechanisms. A rolling ball in the damping mechanism is installed on the upper connecting plate or the lower connecting plate or the linkage plate. A restraining cavity is formed in the upper connecting plate or the lower connecting plate or the linkage plate; a gap between the rolling ball and the inner wall of the constraint cavity is filled with a plurality of groups of rolling balls; when the rolling ball is installed on the upper connecting plate, a concave face is arranged at the position, corresponding to the rolling ball, of the lower connecting plate. When the rolling ball is mounted on the lower connecting plate, a concave surface is arranged at the position, corresponding to the rolling ball, of the upper connecting plate; when the rolling ball is mounted on the linkage plate, concave surfaces are arranged at the positions, corresponding to the rolling ball, of the upper connecting plate and the lower connecting plate; and a buffer damping layer is arranged on the concave surface. The rolling ball type shock insulation support can achieve long-period large-displacement shock insulation movement and complete self-resetting after an earthquake, and is particularly suitable for high-performance shock insulation of a light structure.
