The invention provides repair mortar as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and relates to the technical field of pipeline repair. The repairing mortar disclosed by the invention is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: 350 to 560 parts of cement, 450 to 750 parts of sand, 4 to 9 parts of rubber powder, 0.5 to 4 parts of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 0.5 to 1.2 parts of water reducing agent, 6 to 14 parts of preservative, 0.8 to 2.4 parts of polypropylene fiber and 200 to 350 parts of water. The hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and the rubber powder have good adhesion performance, and the wall hanging performance of the repairing mortar can be improved; and the repair mortar provided by the invention can meet the anti-corrosion requirement of the sewer line and has good anti-corrosion performance. In addition, the repair mortar is lower in preparation cost, and the cost is reduced by about 50% compared with similar repair mortar products in the prior art.
