The invention relates to a water inlet/outlet body close to a draft tube, the water inlet/outlet body comprises a horizontal tunnel section, a bent pipe section, a vertical shaft section, a vertical shaft diffusion section and a diversion section, the rear part of the draft tube is connected with the horizontal tunnel section, and the horizontal tunnel section is connected with the bent pipe section; the bent pipe section is connected with the vertical shaft section, the vertical shaft section is connected with the vertical shaft diffusion section, a flow channel is divided into an upstream part and a downstream part based on an inverted cone of the vertical shaft diffusion section, and the upstream side and the downstream side of the vertical shaft diffusion section are connected with the flow dividing sections correspondingly. The design result of the body type of the water inlet/outlet is determined by the design size of each segment of the body type of the water inlet/outlet determined by the working parameters, the installation parameters and the topographic parameters of the target unit and the actual size of each segment obtained by at least one preset connection constraint. According to the embodiment of the invention, by combining the water flow characteristics of the side type water inlet/outlet and the vertical shaft type water inlet/outlet, the non-uniform flow state after the draft tube is effectively improved, and meanwhile, the good terrain adaptability is achieved, so that the requirements of the water inlet/outlet of the pumped storage power station of the low-water-head ground type factory building close to the draft tube are met.
