The invention relates to a reinforced concrete column reinforced by adding reinforcing bars and building a brick wall and a construction method thereof. The additional building brick wall is fixedly connected with the original concrete column through the horizontal distribution bars, the U-shaped pull stirrups, the column tie bars, the tie bars and the vertical load-bearing bars; the vertical load-bearing steel bars are bound and fixed through the column tie steel bars, the tie bars and the horizontal distribution bars; after all the steel bars are bound and fixed, a brick wall is built; plastering a cement mortar surface layer after the additional brick wall is built; the concrete columns are reinforced by adding reinforcing bars and additionally building brick walls, so that the overall shock resistance of the original structure can be improved, and new and old structures jointly bear the earthquake action, thereby enhancing the toughness of the house and preventing the structure from collapsing.
