The invention discloses a multi-layer sponge city drainage system based on a utility tunnel, which belongs to the field of city drainage and comprises a community drainage and storage unit, a road drainage and storage unit and an inland river water storage and drainage unit which are communicated in sequence, wherein the community drainage and water storage unit comprises a vertical pipe attached to a building body and a first branch pipe gallery communicated with the bottom end of the vertical pipe, the first branch pipe gallery is further communicated with a catch basin in the community, the first branch pipe gallery is communicated with the road drainage and water storage unit through an overflow assembly, and an accumulated water recycling assembly is further arranged in the first branch pipe gallery in the community.
