The invention provides a heat-preservation sintered brick prepared from municipal sludge and a production process of the heat-preservation sintered brick, and relates to the technical field of building materials. The production process of the heat-preservation sintered brick by using the municipal sludge comprises the following steps: S1, sequentially carrying out phosphate treatment and ion exchange resin adsorption on the municipal sludge to remove heavy metal ions in the sludge, and then drying the sludge; s2, the sludge and the raw material components are put into stirring equipment to be mixed; s3, the mixed raw materials are compacted and formed in a mold; s4, performing high-temperature firing on the formed green brick; and S5, coating the surface of the sintered brick with a siloxane coating. By reducing the proportion of the expanded perlite micro powder in the raw materials, pores generated in the sintering process are reduced, and the mode of first compacting and then high-pressure pressing in the compaction forming process is adopted, so that the pores in the brick body are more effectively reduced, the density of the brick body is increased, and the bearing strength of the formed sintered brick is further improved.
