The invention relates to a method for preparing a nano-scale carbonized steel slag cementing material, which comprises the following steps: S1, stirring and mixing steel slag powder and a magnesium chloride aqueous solution to obtain a first steel slag mixed solution; s2, carbon dioxide is introduced into the first steel slag mixed liquid for a first-stage carbonization reaction, and aragonite type carbonized steel slag reaction liquid is obtained; s3, stirring and mixing the aragonite type carbonized steel slag reaction solution and an alcohol amine compound to obtain a second steel slag mixed solution; s4, carbon dioxide is introduced into the second steel slag mixed liquid for a second-stage carbonization reaction, and calcite type carbonized steel slag reaction liquid is obtained; and S5, carrying out post-treatment on the calcite type carbonized steel slag reaction liquid to obtain the nanoscale carbonized steel slag cementing material. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, the steel slag powder is catalyzed and induced by magnesium chloride to be carbonized to generate aragonite, and then the aragonite is accelerated to be converted into calcite through the alcohol amine compound, so that the carbonized steel slag cementing material with a nano scale can be prepared within about 10-60 minutes; the method has the advantages of increasing the specific surface area of the carbonized steel slag, improving the activity of the carbonized steel slag and improving the mechanical property of the cement-based material.
