A door and window is configured by connecting frame bodies (10A, 10C) in which panels (24, P2) are disposed in a state of being arranged side by side, in the frame bodies (10A), pressing edges (25) that support the edge portions of the outdoor-facing surfaces of the panels (24) and inner peripheral side edge portions (25a, 23b) of vertical frames (23) are respectively disposed at the following positions in the depth direction, i.e., the pressing edges (25) and the inner peripheral side edge portions (25a, 23b) of the vertical frames (23) are positioned in the depth direction, and the pressing edges (25) and the inner peripheral side edge portions (25a, 23b) of the vertical frames (23) are positioned in the depth direction. The frame body (10A, 10C) is provided with a position which is the same as an edge portion (15m) on an inner peripheral side of a main view surface of the vertical frame (15) facing indoors and is closer to an outer peripheral side than an edge portion (14f) on the inner peripheral side of the vertical frame (14), and reinforcers (50) are arranged on the main view surfaces facing indoors in the vertical frames (15, 44) adjacent to each other of the frame bodies (10A, 10C). The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a large opening while ensuring wind pressure resistance.
