The invention relates to a heat-insulating glass module for a door assembly of a refrigeration appliance. The heat-insulating glass module at least comprises a first glass plate; a second glass sheet located behind the first glass sheet, the second glass sheet being arranged spaced apart from the first glass sheet; the sealing part is arranged between the first glass plate and the second glass plate, and the sealing part, the first glass plate and the second glass plate jointly form a heat insulation space, the distance between the outer edge of the second glass plate and the outer edge, located on the same side, of the first glass plate is increased in at least one local section, so that at least one receding part is formed in the local section of the second glass plate. The invention further relates to a corresponding door assembly and a refrigeration appliance. A thin and simple configuration of the door assembly can be achieved.
