The invention relates to a water storage and drainage system of a zero-carbon roof greening module. The method is suitable for the technical field of energy conservation and environmental protection. According to the technical scheme, the roof greening system comprises a roof greening module which is arranged on a building roof and can be used for storing water and planting plants; the roof drainage channel is arranged on the roof of the building; the installation position of the water storage tank is lower than the roof greening module and the roof drainage groove, and the water storage tank is communicated with the roof greening module through a water conveying pipe I provided with a control valve, communicated with the roof greening module through a water conveying pipe II provided with a water pump and communicated with the roof drainage groove through a water conveying pipe III provided with a filter screen assembly; the soil humidity detector is arranged in the roof greening module and used for collecting humidity data in the roof greening module; the control unit is in circuit connection with the soil humidity detector, the control valve and the water pump and can be used for controlling the control valve and the water pump to work based on the humidity data collected by the soil humidity detector.
