The invention discloses a hydrodynamic leakage drainage system for a medium-high water head hydropower station, which comprises a water taking module for introducing pressure water from a water diversion pressure steel pipe of the hydropower station; the water quality purification module is used for filtering impurities in the pressure water; the pressure adjusting module is used for adjusting the pressure of the pressure water; the power conversion module is used for converting hydraulic energy of the pressure water into mechanical energy; the drainage module is used for pumping and draining accumulated water of the leakage water-collecting well by using mechanical energy; and the monitoring control module is used for monitoring the operation state of the system and controlling the operation of each component of the system. The method has the beneficial effects that continuous drainage under the condition of power loss of the whole plant is realized by utilizing hydraulic resources of the hydropower station, and the safety of the hydropower station is remarkably improved.
