The device (10) has a channel-type filling unit (12) including an upper feed opening for feeding filling material (8), a lower discharge opening for discharging the filling material, an upper feed section (20) and a flexible hose section (30). The flexible hose section is moved upward along the upper feed section during filling of the filling material in a hole (6). A severing unit (50) i.e. cutting unit, serves an upper area of the flexible hose section along longitudinal direction during upward movement of the flexible hose section. An independent claim is also included for a method for introducing filling material into a hole in a ground.
