SANITARY APPLIANCE
The sanitary appliance (101, 102) comprises a receptacle (10) provided with a flow surface (11) and at least one outlet (13) provided with a valve (40), a sensor (20) for sensing liquid flow at a sensing location of the flow surface, which sensor (20) is arranged in proximity to said sensing location and a controller for receiving a sensor signal and controlling opening and/or closing the valve (40) on the basis of the sensor signal. The sensor (20) comprises a resonant circuit (31) that is provided with a resonance frequency shifting in dependence of liquid flow, and the sensor (20) is configured as an impedance that varies in dependence of said resonance frequency shifting.
