RAIL GRINDING TRUCK AND RAIL GRINDING METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail grinding truck and a rail grinding method in which the irregularities about a rail causing a so-called rail wave bend having a long wavelength can be removed without requiring replacement of the rail itself or a large number of grinding pass.SOLUTION: A rail grinding truck is configured to remove the irregularities of a rail in which periodic rail irregularities are caused in the longitudinal direction. The rail grinding truck includes: front wheels and rear wheels rolling on the rail; a grindstone coming into abutment with the rail and removing the irregularities; a vehicle body attached with the front wheels and rear wheels as well as the grindstone; and wheelbase adjusting means capable of adjusting a position of a center distance between the front wheel and the rear wheel along the longitudinal direction of the rail in conformity to the wavelength of the periodic rail irregularities. The grindstone is disposed between the front wheel and the rear wheel, and the abutment point with the rail is positioned at the side of the vehicle body more than a virtual line connecting the abutment point between the front wheel and the rail with the abutment point between the rear wheel and the rail.
【課題】波長の長い所謂レール波状曲りが生じたレールについて、レール自体の交換や多数の削正パスを必要とすることなく、その凹凸を除去することができるレール削正台車及びレール削正方法を提供する。【解決手段】長手方向に周期的なレール凹凸が生じたレールの当該凹凸を除去するレール削正台車であって、前記レール上を転走する前車輪及び後車輪と、前記レールに当接して凹凸を除去する砥石と、前記前車輪及び後車輪並びに砥石が取り付けられた車体と、前記前車輪及び後車輪の軸間距離が前記周期的なレール凹凸の波長に合わせて前記レールの長手方向に沿って位置調整可能な軸距調整手段を備え、前記砥石は、前記前車輪及び前記後車輪の間に配置されると共に、前記レールとの当接点が前記前車輪と前記レールの当接点と前記後車輪と前記レールの当接点を繋げた仮想線よりも前記車体側に位置する。【選択図】図1
