PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock and a key for the cylinder lock, capable of increasing the key difference number, without enlarging both the total length and an outer diameter.SOLUTION: A cylinder lock 1 is arranged by combining a first tumbler 51 formed in a half-tumbler form of juxtaposing a tumbler 5 in response to both sides of a key blade 31 and releasing engagement with a sleeve 3 by engaging with a first engaging part 31a for forming a first key code, a second tumbler 52 for releasing the engagement with the sleeve 3 by engaging with a second engaging part 31b for forming a second key code different from the first key code, a third tumbler 53 for releasing the engagement with the sleeve 3 by engaging with a third engaging part 31c for forming a third key code and a fourth tumbler 54 for releasing the engagement with the sleeve 3 by engaging with a fourth engaging part 31d for forming a fourth key code different from the third key code.
