MONITORING DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device for a construction machine that can let an operator know that it is difficult for a pyroelectric infrared sensor to detect a heat source.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a person presence/absence determination part 10 which determines whether there is a person nearby a shovel 60 based upon the output of a pyroelectric infrared sensor as a person detection sensor 6 attached to the shovel 60; and a sensor operation determination part 14 which determines and reports whether the person detection sensor 6 can detect a heat source of predetermined temperature moving based upon a determination result of the person presence/absence determination part 10 in a confirmation period in which it is confirmed whether the person detection sensor 6 can operate or not.
【課題】焦電型赤外線センサが熱源を検出し難い状態にあることを操作者に伝えることができる建設機械用監視装置を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の実施例に係る監視装置100は、ショベル60に取り付けられる人検出センサ6としての焦電型赤外線センサの出力に基づいてショベル60の近傍における人の存否を判定する人存否判定部10と、人検出センサ6の動作の可否を確認する確認期間における人存否判定部10の判定結果に基づいて人検出センサ6が所定温度の熱源の移動を検出できたか否かを判定して通知するセンサ動作判定部14とを有する。【選択図】図1
