SASH WINDOW VENTILATING DEVICE AND SASH WINDOW
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash window ventilating device that can impart a fire protecting performance without greatly impairing work performance in the installation of the ventilating device, and can reliably close a ventilation path in the ventilating device by expansion of a thermal expansion refractory material in the case of fire, and thereby can prevent flame, smoke and heat from penetrating to a non-fire side, and to provide the sash window with this.SOLUTION: A sash window ventilating device 13 is integrally provided in an intermediate rail 1 of a sash, and includes: an indoor side vent 14 penetrated and formed to an indoor side side-wall part 8; an outdoor side vent 15 penetrated and formed to an outdoor side side-wall part; and an operation plate 21 provided by turnably connecting an end side in a hollow part 19, closing the indoor side vent 14 with a closing posture along the indoor side side-wall part 8, and opening the indoor side vent 14 with an opening posture obliquely installed. Also, the device includes a thermal expansion refractory material 23 provided in the hollow part 19, and heated and expanded in the case of fire. This thermal expansion refractory material 23 is disposed in a position to be heated and expanded in the case of fire, and to press the operation plate 21, and make and hold the closing posture.
【課題】換気装置の設置時の作業性を大きく損なうことなく防火性能を付与できるとともに、火災時に熱膨張耐火材の膨張によって確実に換気装置内の通気経路を塞ぎ、火炎や煙、熱が非火災側に貫通することを防止できるサッシ窓用の換気装置及びこれを備えたサッシ窓を提供する。【解決手段】サッシの横框1に一体に設けられるサッシ窓用の換気装置13であって、室内側側壁部8に貫通形成された室内側通気口14と、室外側側壁部に貫通形成された室外側通気口15と、中空部19内に端部側を回動自在に接続して設けられ、室内側側壁部8に沿う閉姿勢で室内側通気口14を閉じ、斜設された開姿勢で室内側通気口14を開く作動板21とを備える。且つ、中空部19内に設けられ、火災時に加熱されて膨張する熱膨張耐火材23を備え、この熱膨張耐火材23を、火災時に加熱されて膨張するとともに作動板21を押圧して閉姿勢にして保持する位置に配設する。【選択図】図4
