A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flood preventive structure capable of reliably raising a waterproof plate without using electric power or human power and capable of maintaining the waterproof plate in a fallen posture using an upright column with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A flood preventive structure is provided at the boundary to outside and is provided at a doorway having a floor surface and both side surfaces. The flood preventive structure includes: a waterproof plate which can be raised/fallen to a raising posture of rising up from the floor surface and sealing a doorway between both the side surfaces and a falling posture of being stored in a pit provided on the floor surface; an energizing part to energize the waterproof plate in the rising direction; and a holding part to hold the waterproof plate in the falling posture against the energizing part. The holding part is a pair of upright columns provided adjoining to each other on both the side surfaces. The upright column can move to: a restriction position of pressing the surface on the rising direction side of the waterproof plate in the falling posture; and a backup position of abutting against the surface on the rising direction side of the waterproof plate in the rising posture for supporting.
