WATER BOTTOM GROUND EXCAVATOR AND WATER BOTTOM GROUND EXCAVATION SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water bottom ground excavator which can be effectively moved even on a soft water bottom ground without excessively harming the ground surface, and to provide a water bottom ground excavation system using the same.SOLUTION: The water bottom ground excavator includes a travelling auxiliary body 14 having a spud 12 constructed to be retractably movable toward a water bottom ground 2 and a sliding mechanism 13 for sliding the spud 12 in the horizontal direction. On the soft water bottom ground 2, the spud 12 is moved to elongate until its front end is embedded into the water bottom ground 2 and in this state the spud 12 is slid in the horizontal direction by the sliding mechanism 13, to move a machine body 6 in the opposite direction to the sliding direction. On the relatively hard water bottom ground 2, the machine body 6 is moved by a crawler 4.
【課題】軟弱な水底地盤であっても地盤表面を過度に荒らすことなく効率的に移動することのできる水底地盤掘削装置およびこれを用いた水底地盤掘削システムを提供する。【解決手段】水底地盤2に向かって伸縮可能に構成されるスパッド12とこのスパッド12を水平方向にスライドさせるスライド機構13とを有する走行補助体14を備え、軟弱な水底地盤2ではスパッド12を伸長移動させて水底地盤2にその先端部を埋入させた状態で、スライド機構13によりスパッド12を水平方向にスライドさせることにより、このスライドさせた方向とは反対方向に機体6を移動させ、比較的堅い水底地盤2ではクローラ4により機体6を移動させる。【選択図】図1
