UNDERWATER GROUND EXCAVATOR AND UNDERWATER GROUND EXCAVATION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater ground excavator and an underwater ground excavation method for excavating a ground in a vertical pit uniformly.SOLUTION: An underwater ground excavator 11 is an underwater ground excavator for excavating a ground inside a vertical pit 1 underwater, and includes: a lifting base 15 that may be lifted/lowered inside the vertical pit 1; a fixing mechanism 21 for fixing the lifting base 15 inside the vertical pit 1; a ground excavator 27 supported to allow linear movement in a horizontal direction of the lifting base 15, the ground excavator excavating a ground below the lifting base 15; and a lifting base rotation mechanism 23 that rotates and shifts the lifting base 15 around a central axis of the vertical pit 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
