EXCAVATOR, AND GROUND EXCAVATION METHOD
To excavate a ground below a cutting edge part of a caisson skeleton with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An excavator 10 extends in a vertical direction and is immersed into a ground, and carries out the underwater excavation of a ground 2 below a cutting edge part 1b of a cylindrical caisson skeleton 1 storing water therein. The excavator 10 includes: a trestle 11 mounted on the ground 2 positioned in the caisson skeleton in plan view; a body part 12 which is supported on the trestle 11 and is horizontally swingable to the trestle 11; an arm 13 which has an upper part pivotally supported on one side of the body part 12, extends downward from the upper part, and is expandable/contractible; a tilting device 15 which tilts the arm 13 around a pivoting shaft Q above the arm 13; and a ground excavation part 14 which is provided on a lower end 13c of the arm 13, and carries out the underwater excavation of the ground 2, and can carry out the underwater excavation of the ground 2 below the cutting edge part 1b of the caisson skeleton 1 in a fan shape in plan view by actuation of the body part 12, the arm 13 and the tilting device 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】簡易な構成でケーソン躯体の刃口部の下方の地盤を掘削する。【解決手段】掘削機10は、上下方向に延びて地中に沈設され、かつ、内部に水が貯留されている筒状のケーソン躯体1の刃口部1bの下方の地盤2を水中掘削するものである。掘削機10は、平面視でケーソン躯体1内に位置する地盤2に載置される架台11と、架台11に支持されて架台11に対して水平旋回可能な本体部12と、本体部12の一側に上部が枢支されてこの上部から下方に延び、かつ、伸縮可能であるアーム13と、アーム13の上部の枢支軸Qを中心としてアーム13を傾動させる傾動装置15と、アーム13の下端部13cに設けられて地盤2を水中掘削する地盤掘削部14であって、本体部12、アーム13、及び傾動装置15の作動によって、ケーソン躯体1の刃口部1bの下方の地盤2を平面視で扇形状に水中掘削可能な地盤掘削部14と、を備える。【選択図】図5
