PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary room equipped with a support member that can be safely used as a handrail for a user in a standing position to approach a Western style toilet.SOLUTION: A side support 6a of a support device 3a is provided to both sides of a Western style toilet T installed in a sanitary room A. An upper horizontal part 61a which is a handrail part of a side support body is positioned at height of 700-800 mm from the floor, and an armrest member 62 which is an armrest part supported by a lower horizontal part is positioned at height of 550-650 mm from the floor so that a user in a standing position holding the upper horizontal part 61a can safely approach the Western style toilet T.
【課題】立位の利用者が洋式便器へのアプローチ用の手摺りとしても安全に用いることができるサポート部材を備えたサニタリールームを提供する。【解決手段】サニタリールームＡ内に設置された洋式便器Ｔの両側にサポート装置３ａのサイドサポート６ａを設けるとともに、サイドサポート本体の手摺り部となる上側水平部６１ａの床からの高さを７００〜８００ｍｍとし、下側水平部に支持されたアームレスト部となるアームレスト部材６２の床からの高さを５５０〜６５０ｍｍとし、上側水平部６１ａを持てば立位の利用者が洋式便器Ｔに安全にアプローチできるようにした。【選択図】図１
