PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative member with an access hole that enables arrangement of a joint box and that is excellent in workability.SOLUTION: A decorative member is a parapet part 3 that is mounted along an edge part 21 of a roof 2 of a building. The decorative member includes cover parts (31 and 32) that form an outer shell, a retainer material 38 that is provided on the inside of the cover part to be loaded with a joint box 6, and an access hole 4 that is opened on a top surface of the cover part. In this case, the cover part is attached to brackets (33, 34 and 35) that are attached at intervals in an extension direction of the edge part. In addition, the retainer material is laid between the brackets.
【課題】ジョイントボックスの配置が可能となるうえに、作業性に優れた点検口を備えた化粧部材を提供する。【解決手段】建物の屋根２の縁部２１に沿って取り付けられるパラペット部３である。そして、外殻を形成するカバー部（３１，３２）と、ジョイントボックス６を載せるためにカバー部の内側に設けられる受材３８と、カバー部の上面に開口される点検口４とを備えている。ここで、カバー部は、縁部の延伸方向に間隔を置いて取り付けられるブラケット（３３，３４，３５）に取り付けられる。また、受材は、ブラケット間に架け渡される。【選択図】図１
