UNDERGROUND SKELETON OF NEW BUILDING UTILIZING EXISTING BUILDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building construction method and an underground skeleton of a new building, capable of achieving a shorter construction period.SOLUTION: The building construction method utilizes an existing building having n underground floors (n is a natural number of 2 or greater) for constructing the new building. The aboveground skeleton of the existing building is dismantled, and new underground columns 23 are constructed while leaving existing underground slabs 14 for first to n-1-th underground floors of the existing building. The underground skeleton of the new building is built up with an existing underground slab 14 for the n-th underground floor of the existing building, a concrete temporary batholith provided on the existing underground slab, a reinforced-concrete new batholith provided on the temporary batholith, new underground columns 23 rising up from the existing underground slab, and a new underground slab connected to existing underground outer walls. To the new underground columns, foot protection is applied using the new batholith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
