PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar shading device for supporting a shading material suspended from a head box.SOLUTION: The solar shading device according to this invention has an intermediate rail 7 at the intermediate of the shading material. The intermediate rail 7 has an intermediate rail body 12 formed of a metal material, and a front cover 13 formed of a resin material. The intermediate rail 7 also has positioning means for positioning the front cover 13. Preferably, the intermediate rail body 12 has engagement protruded parts 122R, 122L on the abutment face which abuts on the front cover 13, and the front cover 13 has engagement receiving parts 132R, 132L for engaging with the engagement protruded parts 122R, 122L, respectively. The solar shading device also has a head box 1 and a bottom rail 8 where positioning means are provided for mounting covers on the body parts thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
