LADDER-CUM-STEPLADDER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder-cum-stepladder having a joint member of a simple structure that rotatably connects ladders, offering sufficient load bearing capacity when used as a ladder and allowing weight to be reduced readily.SOLUTION: A ladder-cum-stepladder 1 has a pair of ladders 2 connected rotatably around an axis of rotation in a direction of installation of a rung 4, the ladder 2 having a pair of support posts 3 and a rung 4 spanned between the pair of support posts 3. A joint metal fitting 6 is fixed on the support post 3 with an upper edge part of the support post 3 inserted and fitted, the joint metal fitting 6 being disposed on an upper edge of each support post 3 for rotatably connecting the support posts 3 on the same side with regard to the direction of installation, and includes an inserted and fitted part 10 that forms a support surface 6s as a mating surface with the joint metal fitting 6 of the connected support post, when the pair of ladders 2 are opened to a greatest rotation angle that allows the pair of ladders 2 to form a ladder state, and a hinge part 20 that protrudes from a side surface of the inserted and fitted part 10 and is connected with the joint metal fitting 6 of the connected support post.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】梯子体同士を回動可能に連結させる接手部材に関し、簡単な構造により、梯子使用時において十分な耐荷重性を得ることができ、軽量化を容易に図ることができる梯子兼用脚立を提供する。【解決手段】一対の支柱3と、一対の支柱3間に横架された踏桟4とを有する梯子体2を一対備え、一対の梯子体2を、踏桟4の架設方向を回動軸方向として回動可能に連結させた梯子兼用脚立1であって、各支柱3の上端部に設けられ、前記架設方向について同じ側にある支柱3同士を回動可能に連結させる接手金具6は、支柱3の上端部を挿嵌させた状態で支柱3に固定され、一対の梯子体2の回動角度が一対の梯子体2が梯子状態をなす最大回動角度の状態で、連結される相手方の接手金具6に対する合わせ面としての支持面6sを形成する挿嵌部10と、挿嵌部10の一側側面から突出し、相手方の接手金具6と連結されるヒンジ部20とを有する。【選択図】図7
