PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand wash basin and a counter capable of suppressing water pooling on a faucet body fitting surface, and preventing a load from concentrating on a portion of a faucet body fitting part even when force is applied to water discharge means.SOLUTION: A hand wash basin installed at a counter provided in a toilet room includes: water discharge means for discharging water; and a hand wash basin body including an installation part where the water discharge means is installed, and a water receiving part for receiving water. The installation part includes a horizontal part formed in parallel with a horizontal surface, and an inclination part formed inclined with respect to the horizontal surface, and the water discharge means is installed at the horizontal part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
