PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand wash basin capable of suppressing water splash to outside the hand wash basin even when the hand wash basin is installed in a narrow toilet room, and a counter including the hand wash basin.SOLUTION: A hand wash basin which is installed in a toilet room having an entrance frontage of 800 mm or less includes: discharge means where a discharge hole for discharging water is provided; an installation part where the discharge means is installed; and a water receiving part which receives the water and has a drain hole provided in the lower part. In the hand wash basin, the center of the discharge hole is positioned at the back side with respect to the center of the drain hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
