A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fire prevention/disaster prevention measures while taking people disadvantaged in disaster into account in a configuration including a temporary evacuation area which is utilized as a temporary evacuation place for evacuees and from which access to an evacuation route in a vertical direction can be accessed.SOLUTION: An evacuation facility includes a temporary evacuation area (3), vertical direction evacuation routes (11 and 12) and a buffer zone (2). The temporary evacuation area (3) is defined by a fireproofing wall that is capable of blocking smoke or the like generated by a fire, provided in a corner of a floor that is specified beforehand, and effectively utilized as a temporary shelter space. The vertical direction evacuation routes (11 and 12) enable evacuation in the vertical direction of a building. The buffer zone (2) is provided so as to form a small space between double protection surfaces by defining a corridor (1) that is an evacuation route in a horizontal direction of the building, with the protection surfaces, so as to protect the temporary evacuation area and routes from the temporary protection area (3) to the vertical direction evacuation routes (11 and 12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
