PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window unit that can be easily mounted to an opening.SOLUTION: This invention has: a pair of external vertical materials and a pair of external horizontal materials which are fixed to an opening formation part forming an opening communicating an indoor side and an outdoor side mutually; a pair of internal vertical materials fixed on an inner peripheral side of the pair of the external vertical materials and a pair of internal horizontal materials fixed on the inner peripheral side of the pair of the external horizontal materials; a member provided inside the opening while being held by the pair of external vertical materials and the pair of external horizontal materials, and the pair of internal vertical materials and the pair of internal horizontal materials; and cover members covering end parts of the internal vertical materials and the internal horizontal materials which are neighboring. The cover members are press fitted into both end parts of either the pair of the internal vertical materials or the pair of the internal horizontal materials in a way to be relatively movable to the either materials and be held at a specific position. The cover members are arranged abutting against the other materials between the other materials of the pair of internal vertical materials or the pair of internal horizontal materials fixed to the pair of external vertical materials or the pair of external horizontal materials.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
