PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block that can suppresses a deterioration in workability even in a state of an increase in stacking height and the top and under surfaces of which can bear a lateral load, an earthquake resisting wall, and an earthquake resisting wall construction method.SOLUTION: A block 10 has recesses 16A and 16B that form a through-hole 14 vertically penetrating in a combined state. Top and under surfaces 18 and 20 serving as stacking surfaces comprise inclined planes inclined toward a central part from both ends 10R and 10L. The inclined planes vertically overlap each other so that the blocks can be stacked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
