PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread cleaning device having a simple structure.SOLUTION: A tread cleaning device 100 includes a connection mechanism 80 detachably connecting a polishing element receiver 40 to a polishing element 50, and a lock mechanism 90 configured to hold the connection mechanism 80 in a connection state. The lock mechanism 90 has a lock pin 72 and a clip 60 which engages with the lock pin 72. The polishing element receiver 40 has a clip support part 43 which supports a clip 60 for holding the lock pin 72. The clip support part 43 includes a clip housing part 44 in which the clip 60 is housed, and an engagement groove 46 formed in the clip housing part 44 and configured to be engaged with an engagement part 63 of the clip 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
