RAIL TREAD CLEANING DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail tread cleaning device capable of cleaning a tread of a rail at low cost in low noise, without requiring an engine for rotating a brush.SOLUTION: A rail tread cleaning device comprises a connection rod 12 for detachably connecting one end side to a connection part of a track bicycle 2 and a rail tread cleaning carriage 11 connected to the other end side of the connection rod 12 and traveling on a tread of a rail R by being pressed by the track bicycle 2, and the rail tread cleaning carriage 11 comprises a carriage body 11a for connecting the other end side of the connection rod 12, a driving gear 11d provided on a rotary shaft 11b of wheels 11c and 11c of its carriage body 11a, and a rail tread cleaning mechanism part 11f provided with a multistage type passive gear 11f3 for rotating by receiving rotation of the driving gear 11d when rotating the wheels 11c and 11c of the carriage body 11a and a rotary brush (cleaner means) 11f4 for cleaning the tread of the rail R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
