PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly separate the other end of these lifting cords, when a load of a predetermined value or more acts on a cord joining tool in the direction for mutually separating a plurality of lifting cords.SOLUTION: A shielding body is suspended from a head rail installed in a window frame, on a wall or in the ceiling, and the other end of a plurality of lifting cords 41-45 having one end connected to the shielding body and wired by passing through the head rail, is suspended from one end of the head rail, and is constituted so that a cord joining part 90 collectively joins the other end of the plurality of lifting cords. In this cord joining tool 90, a curved projection part and a curved recessed part are respectively formed in a joining tool body and a cover body for guiding to the relative movement in the vertical direction for mutually separating from the relative movement in the horizontal direction for mutually separating the joining tool body and the cover body when the other end of the lifting cords of two groups mutually separates, when the plurality of lifting cords are divided into the two groups and a load in the direction for mutually separating the lifting cords of these two groups acts on the lifting cords of the two groups.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
