BASE ISOLATION REPAIR METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation repair method of installing a base isolation device on an existing skeleton while easily and precisely keeping constant a preloading state in which the base isolation device is loaded with predetermined certain axial force.SOLUTION: A base isolation device is installed on an existing pole. A method comprises: steps S1-S4 of removing a part of the existing pole and installing the base isolation device; a step S5 of installing a support member between the existing pole and base isolation device; steps S5-S7 of installing a plurality of hydraulic jacks on an upper surface of the base isolation device, and introducing axial force into the base isolation device by those hydraulic jacks; and steps S8, S9 of re-bearing the introduced axial force by the support member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
