SAND REMOVAL METHOD FOR SAND BASIN
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the stop frequency of a sand lifting pump during sand removal.SOLUTION: A sand removal apparatus jets compressed water from a feed water pump out of a nozzle installed in a sand basin in a drainage state, jets this water in a predetermined order by each region out of a nozzle provided in each of a plurality of regions configured by dividing the bottom face of a sand basin to collect soil and sand accumulated on a region into a pit, and pumps up soil and sand with a sand lifting pump. The sand removal apparatus is provided with switching valve control means that controls water passage and water stop with respect to the nozzle of each region one after another when detecting that a water level of the sand basin is an intermediate water level by pumping up with the sand lifting pump, and water supply means that supplies water into the sand basin from outside of the sand basin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
【課題】除砂中の揚砂ポンプの停止頻度をさらに低減させる。【解決手段】排水状態で、給水ポンプからの加圧水を沈砂池に設置したノズルから噴射させ、かつ、沈砂池の底面を区分してなる複数の領域のそれぞれに設けたノズルから領域ごとに所定の順序で噴射させ、領域に堆積した土砂を集砂ピットに集めて、揚砂ポンプにより土砂を汲み上げて除去する除砂装置において、揚砂ポンプによる汲み上げにより沈砂池における水面が中間水位になったことを検知した時に、各領域のノズルに対する通水と止水を順次制御する切換弁制御手段を設けるとともに、沈砂池の外部から沈砂池に給水する給水手段を設けた。【選択図】図11
