PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory composition and a monolithic refractory capable of combining penetration resistance with erosion resistance and, in particular, suitably used for a waste incinerator such as a rotary kiln furnace.SOLUTION: There is provided the monolithic refractory composition which has a chemical composition containing, alumina of 78 mass% to 83 mass%, silica of 3 mass% to 7 mass%, chromia of 8 mass% to 12 mass% and zirconia of 2 mass% to 4 mass%, and in which the alumina contains alumina particles with an alumina content of 99 mass% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】耐浸透性及び耐溶損性を両立することができ、特にロータリーキルン炉等の廃棄物焼却炉に好適に用いられる、不定形耐火組成物、及び不定形耐火物を提供。【解決手段】化学組成で、アルミナ７８質量％以上８３質量％以下、シリカ３質量％以上７質量％以下、クロミア８質量％以上１２質量％以下、及びジルコニア２質量％以上４質量％以下を含有する不定形耐火組成物であって、前記アルミナとしては、アルミナ含有量が９９質量％以上のアルミナ粒子を含む不定形耐火組成物である。【選択図】なし
