PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external facing structure capable of uniformly and surely executing an engaging state of mutual external facing materials, when laying the external facing material such as a chestnut-roofing external facing material.SOLUTION: The present invention is an external facing structure laid by mutually engaging mutual adjacent external facing materials 1 and 1, by installing-holding the external facing materials 1 for respectively molding an engaging part 13 and an engaging object part 12 by a holding material 2 fixed to a backing 3, by bending the peripheral edge of a face plate part 11 to the surface side or the reverse surface side, and the external facing material 1 is provided with the engaging object part 12 by bending to the surface side on the two sides 112 and 112 adjacent by being positioned on at least the upstream side, and is provided with the engaging part 13 by bending to the reverse surface side on the two sides 113 and 113 adjacent by being positioned on the downstream side, and the engaging object part 12 of the external facing material 1 is provided with a plan view step difference-shaped locking receiving part 14 of cutting off the folding-back edge, and the external facing material 1 is installed on the backing 3 by the holding material 2 having a locking part 22 for engaging with the locking receiving part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】菱葺き外装材等の外装材の敷設に際し、外装材同士の係合状態を均一に且つ確実に行うことができる外装構造を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明は、面板部11の周縁を表面側或いは裏面側に折曲して係合部13、被係合部12をそれぞれ成形した外装材1を、下地3に固定した保持材2により取付保持し、隣接する外装材1,1同士が相互に係合して敷設される外装構造であって、前記外装材1は、少なくとも水上側に位置して隣接する二辺112,112に、表面側に折曲して被係合部12が設けられ、水下側に位置して隣接する二辺113,113に、裏面側に折曲して係合部13が設けられ、前記外装材1の被係合部12には、折返し端縁が切除された平面視段差状の係止受部14を設け、該係止受部14に係合する係止部22を備える前記保持材2により、前記外装材1は下地3に取り付けられることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
