PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestal structure for a door lock such that a decorative cover is not easy to fall from a pedestal in spite of repeatedly operating a lever handle and also can be easily detached from the pedestal.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a pedestal structure 10 for a door lock that has a pedestal 1 fitted to a surface of a door 9 and a decorative cover 2 fitted to the pedestal 1 to cover the pedestal 1, the pedestal 1 having, on its outer peripheral surface, a lock groove 3 where a lock projection 5 of the decorative cover 2 is locked and a plurality of elastic bodies 4 locked to a cut part 6 of the decorative cover 2, while the decorative cover 2 has, at its tip part, the lock projection 5 locked to the lock groove 3 and the cut part 6 locked to the elastic body 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
