PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition wall structure of a building and a construction method thereof, which can improve work efficiency at a construction site and restrict deterioration of appearance due to the improvement of work efficiency.SOLUTION: A partition wall structure of a building comprises: an upper receiving member 21 with an opening part 22 into which an upper end of a partition wall 50 is inserted; a first lower receiving member 25a, which has a bottom plate part 27a disposed between a floor slab 12 and the partition wall 50 and a standing part 28a that stands from the bottom plate part 27a and butts to one wall face of the partition wall 50; and a second lower receiving member 25b, which has a bottom plate part 27b disposed between the floor slab 12 and the partition wall 50 and a standing part 28b that stands from the bottom plate part 27b and butts to the other wall face of the partition wall 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
