PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-attach/detach fireproof covering structure capable of improving the fireproofing performance of a facility afterward by attaching the fireproof covering structure, and to provide a fireproof covering method.SOLUTION: A fireproof covering structure 10 (10A-10D) at least one a fireproofing wall 11 with lid, which includes: a body part 11b which is detachable from a base material 3 previously installed, has plural detachable fireproofing walls 11-13 enclosing the periphery of a facility 2 in a non-contact manner and formed with an opening 11a; a lid part 11c covering the opening 11a; and a fixture 11d which detachably attaches the lid part 11c to the body part 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
