PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle theft even in the case where a driver rides off a vehicle while a key is inserted into an ignition key cylinder by using a keyless entry system that is more inexpensive than a smart entry system.SOLUTION: A vehicle anti-theft device performs control so as to unlock a door and also determine a door unlocking method when identification information of a keyless transmitter 3 is authenticated, permits engine starting when an unlocking method is an operation of the keyless transmitter, and inhibits the engine starting when a door unlocking method is a method different from an operation of the keyless transmitter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】スマートエントリーシステムよりも安価なキーレスエントリシステムを用い、イグニッションキーシリンダにキーが差し込まれたままの状態でドライバーが降車した場合であっても、車両の盗難を防止すること。【解決手段】車両盗難防止装置は、キーレス送信機３の識別情報が認証されたとき、ドアを解錠させるよう制御すると共に、ドアの解錠方法を判定し、解錠方法がキーレス送信機の操作である場合にエンジン始動を許可し、ドアの解錠方法がキーレス送信機の操作とは異なる方法である場合にエンジン始動を禁止する。【選択図】図１
