THREE-DIMENSIONAL SEISMIC ISOLATOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional seismic isolator capable of eliminating possibility of falling of a vertical base isolation unit and decreasing its number of installation.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a three-dimensional seismic isolator having a structure in which a horizontal base isolation unit 10 and a vertical base isolation unit 12 are connected in a vertical direction, a pair of upper and lower rigid upper and lower members 36, 38 slidable in a vertical direction are arranged in at least one of a concentric circle center part and an outer frame part of the vertical base isolation unit 12 under a state in which they are fixed to an upper plate 32, lower plate 34, one rigid vertical member 36 has a form of column-like core rod or cylindrical form and the other rigid vertical member 38 is arranged near the outside part of one rigid vertical member 36 and shows a cylinder-type form enclosing in a cylindrical manner its circumference without hindering the vertical motion of one rigid vertical member 36 so as to transmit a horizontal force acted on the vertical base isolation unit 12 to the horizontal base isolation unit 10 through contact between the side portions of the pair of vertical rigid upper and lower members 36, 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-1
【課題】上下動免震ユニットの転倒のおそれをなくし、設置数を減らせる三次元免震装置を提供する。【解決手段】水平動免震ユニット10と上下動免震ユニット12とを上下に連結した構造を有する三次元免震装置であって、上下動免震ユニット12の同心円の中心部と外枠部の少なくとも一方に、上下方向にスライド可能な上下一対の剛性上下部材36,38を上板32、下板34に固定した態様で配置し、一方の剛性上下部材36は円柱状の心棒もしくは円筒状の形態であり、他方の剛性上下部材38は一方の剛性上下部材36の外側に接近配置され、一方の剛性上下部材36の上下の動きを妨げることなくその周囲を円筒管状に囲うシリンダー型の形態であり、上下動免震ユニット12に作用する水平力を、上下一対の剛性上下部材36,38の側部間の接触によって、水平動免震ユニット10に伝達するようにする。【選択図】図1−1
