CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR DOUBLE SHELL TANK
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a double shell tank comprising an outer tank made of concrete, which prevents rainwater from seeping out of an inner surface of side wall of the outer tank, until installation of the concrete is completed on a metal roof, which is a skeleton part of the outer tank.SOLUTION: A construction method of the invention is for a double shell tank, comprising; a support hardware, which is incorporated in an outer tank side wall made of concrete with a part exposed to an inner surface thereof; and a metal roof supported by the support hardware, while forming a lower layer part of a ceiling part of the outer tank. The construction method for the double shell tank comprises: a step for forming the side wall of the outer tank by installing the concrete so that an upper surface of the concrete provides a water guiding surface extending downward toward the outside of the outer tank in a state of incorporating the support hardware; and a step for forming the metal roof which is connected to the support hardware.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
