METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BEAM-COLUMN JOINT STRUCTURE, AND BEAM-COLUMN JOINT STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more inexpensive method of manufacturing a beam-column joint structure, which can reduce the weight of a steel material by preventing a cross-section of a column from being enlarged by an increase in bending width of a beam, without the need for notching a flange of the beam in a large size, and the beam-column joint structure.SOLUTION: In a beam-column joint structure 1, a plurality of thick parts 3, a notch 7, and a narrow part 5 on the central part of a flange plate are integrally molded and cut (split) along a cut-off line, and the thick parts 3 are joined to a column 2a by welding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
