PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to securely perform a setting operation of a function mode in the case of using a touch switch as an operation unit, and secure high reliability for preventing unintended setting operation of a function mode from being performed even when the touch switch being touched erroneously.SOLUTION: A card reader 10 includes a display operation panel 16 on which a caution setting switch 20, a caution release switch 22, and a ten-key 30 that use an electrostatic capacity switch are provided. In the case of setting a function mode using the card reader 10, a type selection operation for a function mode using any of the caution setting switch 20, the caution release switch 22, and a numeric key of the ten-key 30 is performed. Next, an operation for identifying a function mode is performed using operation to a # key switch of the ten-key 30. Then, an operation of making a non-contact IC card of a user be read is performed. When a control unit detects a series of these operations, the control unit instructs a local control board to perform setting of a function mode on which type selection is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】操作部にタッチスイッチを用いた場合のファンクションモードの設定操作を確実に行うことを可能にし、タッチスイッチに誤って触れていても意図しないファンクションモードの設定操作が行われない高い信頼性を確保可能とする。【解決手段】カードリーダー１０の表示操作パネル１６には、静電容量スイッチを用いた警戒設定スイッチ２０、警戒解除スイッチ２２、及びテンキー３０が設けられる。カードリーダー１０でファンクションモードを設定する場合は警戒設定スイッチ２０、警戒解除スイッチ２２、又はテンキー３０の中の数字キーの何れかのファクションモードの種別選択操作を行い、次にテンキー３０の中の＃キースイッチの操作によりファンクションモードの識別操作を行い、続いて利用者の非接触ＩＣカードを読取らせ、これら一連の操作を制御部で検出した場合に種別選択されたファンクションモードの設定をローカル制御盤に指示する。【選択図】図１
