PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To standardize a structure of an operation part regardless of presence/absence of a ten key and improve productivity and reduce cost.SOLUTION: An operation part of a card reader comprises: an outer frame cover 14 having a rectangular opening; a transparent panel 32 which is arranged on inside of the rectangular opening of the outer frame cover 14, and on which a prescribed switch symbol is displayed; and a switch sheet 34 on which plural switches are arranged, and which is arranged on inside of the transparent panel 32, the outer frame cover, the transparent panel and the switch sheet being laminated. As the transparent panel 32, a transparent panel on which, all switch symbols are displayed out of a caution setting switch, a caution release switch and a ten key, or a transparent panel on which some of switch symbols containing the caution setting switch and caution release switch, are displayed, is arranged selectively. By only replacing the transparent panel 32 on which display of the switch symbols is different, without changing the switch sheet 34, a control function by a switch operation of the card reader, for example, a setting function of a function mode can be changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】テンキーの有無にかかわらず操作部の構成を共通化して生産性の向上とコストの低減を可能とする。【解決手段】カードリーダーの操作部は、矩形開口を備えた外枠カバー１４と、外枠カバー１４の矩形開口の内側に配置され、所定のスイッチシンボルが表示された透明パネル３２と、透明パネル３２の内側に配置される複数のスイッチを配列したスイッチシート３４とを積層配置している。透明パネル３２としては、警戒設定スイッチ、警戒解除スイッチ及びテンキーの全てのスイッチシンボルを表示した透明パネルか、又は、警戒設定スイッチ及び警戒解除スイッチを含む一部のスイッチシンボルが表示された透明パネルを選択的に配置する。スイッチシート３４を変更することなく、スイッチシンボルの表示の異なる透明パネル３２を交換するだけで、カードリーダーのスイッチ操作による制御機能、例えばファンクションモードの設定機能が変更可能となる。【選択図】図３
