PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt finisher which can purify exhaust gas.SOLUTION: An asphalt finisher 100 includes a tractor 1, a hopper 2 provided in a front side of the tractor 1, a conveyor 10 which conveys a pavement material in the hopper 2 to a rear side of the tractor 1, a screw 11 which spreads and lays, in a vehicle width direction, the pavement material conveyed by the conveyor 10 and scattered on a road, a screed 3 which lays and flattens, in a rear side of the screw 11, the pavement material spread and laid by the screw 11, an engine 6 mounted in the tractor 1, a hydraulic pump driven by an engine 6, an exhaust gas post-treatment device 7 which purifies exhaust gas from the engine 6, and a controller 30 which reduces the output of the engine 6 and the output horse power of the hydraulic pump when an abnormality of the exhaust gas post-treatment device 7 is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
